Living Root Bridge

The other view to behold is the “Sky Watch” which is nothing but an 85 feet tall bamboo structure made with bamboo and natural rope. This structure is mostly used in order to ponder upon the plains of the neighboring nation, Bangladesh as well as to get a bird’s eye view of the entire village as well.

Accommodation options in this small village are not too many; however there is the Mawlynnong Rest House where the visitors are welcomed by traditionally made bamboo cottages where the tariff is not too exorbitant. Apart from this, the nights can be spent at a villager’s house at minimal costs too.
