This jail was popularly used by the Britishers to send Indians who used to go against their rule during the independence movement of India. At this time, this jail is more of a memorial which acts as a shrine for the political leaders who were sent to this prison during the British era! A must visit this one!
The Andaman Lighthouse
Located about 14 kilometers east of Hut Bay is this little Andaman Lighthouse, which used to be a most important one in the early days when ships were directed from here! Another lovely place to visit, this lighthouse is standing at a height of 41 meters and has an exact of 200 spiral steps to fill the eyes to the beauty of the magnificent blue water, forest and the coastline!! Simply wow!!
